About Hart Therapy
My name is Evan Hart. I offer telehealth services to individual adults throughout Wisconsin. With over 15 years of working with adults in both long term case management and individual therapy I've had experiences with diverse populations across all domains of modern life. We live in challenging times. Change is everywhere and it is difficult to stay grounded and be our authentic selves. It is critical for clients to understand the value of not only examining what may be happening when things aren't going well, but to also acknowledge and accentuate what they are doing when things are going well. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is uniquely designed to facilitate just that.
I work exclusively with individual adults ages 18 through 70+. My focus areas include anxiety, depression, panic disorder, grief, life transitions, stress management, self esteem/personal growth, challenging relationships, and navigating a fast paced, complex, modern world with dignity, strength, and grace.

Approach
I am committed to creating a safe space in which clients feel comfortable expressing and exploring what is distressing to them along with the circumstances, past and present, related to it. In that, you will find me open to and engaged with learning about you as an individual. Meeting clients where they are is critical to building an authentic working relationship. I'll help you articulate your goals and clarify how our work in therapy will help you achieve them. My style is warm and engaging, though I will also be challenging and encourage you to reach higher. I employ evidenced based treatment strategies that are dynamic and effective. Therapy is challenging work though I'm confident your effort will be rewarded early.
